Maximilian Brandstätter

Maximilian Brandstätter is co-founder and CEO of Orcha. Before Orcha he was on the founding team of Vara, where he led product and international growth — building AI systems for cancer screening, where accuracy is what counts. The same care shapes his work in finance today.

He is a founding member of the German AI Association (KI Bundesverband). At Orcha he leads product and go-to-market, working daily with finance teams, controllers and tax advisors across the DACH region.

In the Orcha Community he writes about how AI is changing finance operations — from e-invoicing through accounts payable and receivable to the month-end close. Practical, no hype, from the perspective of a team that works with these numbers itself.
